How long have you been at PBC? Since June 2006 Family: My beautiful wife—Kellie, who is a great helper as we minister together in Pinewood Favorite Music: I enjoy all types of music. My favorite is classic rock such as Journey, ABBA, and Chicago. I do enjoy Christian groups who can develop their own sound and share the gospel of Jesus Christ through the music they sign. My favorite Christian artists are: Jars of Clay, 4 Him, and Steven Curtis Chapman. Favorite Bible Verse: “For we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.” - Acts 4:20 (NIV) “I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of His sharing in His sufferings, becoming like Him in His death, and somehow, to attain from the resurrection of the dead.” - Philippians 3:10-11 (NIV) Most Important Thing God has taught me: The cost of following Christ is laying down your life daily in subjection to Christ. I’ve also learned to be obedient to God’s will and not allowing money, selfish desires, and greed to come in the way of what God calls me to do daily. Firstly, love God and walk with Him; secondly, be the Godly husband and man His word calls me to be; and thirdly, love everyone, forgetting the color of their skin and their economic situation. Favorite travel destination visited: Mountains by the lake What I like best about what I do at PBC: Leading others to seek to live Matthew 28:19-20 in their homes and community. I love to lead parents to live Deuteronomy 6:4-7. |

Favorite Bible Verse: “Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” - Proverbs 3:5-6
Most Important Thing God has taught me: “Let go!” Life has had many ups and downs for my family. While I sometimes get angry about circumstances, God and I speak frequently, and He is working in me in ways I sometimes have difficulty accepting and understanding. Though humbled by life’s experiences, I am optimistic about the Lord’s plan for my family and me. He’s in control, and I need to let go and enjoy the ride!

What I like best about what I do at PBC: I feel at home here and have been welcomed by the congregation and staff. While I am new to PBC, I look forward working with this body of believers. |
