Pinewood Baptist Church

Seeking Him in All We Do

             Our mission is to win the lost to Christ and connect them to the local church where they will develop into servants and worship God.

 

             Pinewood Baptist Church was organized on April 18, 1909, and met in the Knights of Pythias Hall (over the old Stack’s Store).  Services continued here for about a year with the first church started in 1910 and dedicated on February 19, 1911.  PBC became a full-time church on January 1, 1947.  Over time, the church has purchased additional property to finally include an entire block.  Present day facilities include the auditorium; a 2 story Sunday School area; an educational building; a fellowship hall with classrooms, offices, and a parlor room; a gymnasium; a softball field; and 2 parsonages.
